We're finally getting warmer weather again. I hope it lasts. I don't mind rain, and I'm so tired of the cold.

Two last nights ago my crowntail Jecht fought his final battle.

Well, in a manner of speaking. He died during his last water change in the little cup I set him aside in. That's a first. I'm pretty bummed out--he was the first crowntail I ever had, and it sucks losing him so fast after I lost Mika. : ( No more crowntails for me for a while.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! We didn't do much at my house, but it was a pleasant evening nonetheless. My parents and I had frozen pizza and all spent some time watching Hardcore Pawn together. I missed the usual turkey, but it's nothing we can't have later.

My sweet Pumpkin's time has come as well. *sigh* I purchased him and Major Marin together. They're my sixth and seventh bettas. Perhaps it's fitting he went around Halloween? : ( I am disappointed he didn't recover, but I pray he'll be the last of the bettas I lose due to what I believe is a combination of old age and seasonal changes.
